The only compliment you can pay a complicated procedure (and this is really scraping the bottom of the barrel) is to say that at least all of the #$%@! code is in one place.
Let’s be clear: I am not suggesting that you and your team will start writing better, more-certain code the day you move away from Ruby. In fact, there will be a noticeable dip in productivity and a noticeable rise in audible profanity.
If there’s a specialization, by definition, there’s never just one specialization.
